As the world leader on the market of applied biometrics, MorphoTrak masters numerous key technologies. The group is involved in a number of research groups, including the Simplifying Passenger Travel committee.
MorphoTrak provides complete integrated border management solutions that encompass all parts of a border project. With extensive experience in implementing large-scale civil identification systems and numerous border management system deployments, Morpho knows how to facilitate check point traffic while improving security.
In terms of territorial security, MorphoTrak offers numerous border control solutions, including automated systems to control passengers, integrated control stations and systems that monitor refugees and asylum seekers.
· Automated Border Control Solution – ABC: MorphoTrak has developed an automated solution for the control of travelers entering or leaving a territory. Based on biometrics, this solution enables the reconciliation of two a priori contradictory objectives, security and automation.
The ABC solution provides:
Define the future with ABC
The ABC system, mainly based on the mastery of biometrics, fits well with airport security and the general facilitation policy encouraged by all air transport players, and particularly the Simplifying Passenger Travel Interest Group (SPTIG), the Airport Council International (ACI), the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and ICAO.
· Biometric Passport Solution – A Modernized Passport Solution: MorphoTrak has designed an integrated passport solution that can be tailored to existing systems and customer requirements for secure travel documents.
The biometric data chosen by our customers, from the three technologies of face, fingerprint and iris recognition, are stored in a contactless chip embedded in the passport. MorphoTrak passport solutions are fully compliant with the latest international requirements, such as the Basic Access Control (BAC) and Extended Access Control (EAC) standards set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Among the very few companies in the world with full mastery of the three biometric technologies used in passports and a thorough experience in the management of very large databases, MorphoTrak and parent Sagem Sécurité have been implementing and deploying large-scale identity systems for many years. In total, Sagem Sécurité and its subsidiaries have issued 100 million ID documents, created 10,000 enrollment sites and trained 300,000 operators in more than 30 countries worldwide.

· Biometric Visa Solution– Enhanced Security at Every Stage: MorphoTrak has perfected a solution based on biometrics to secure the issuance and control of visas. The implementation of MorphoTrak ’s visa solution brings major advantages to government authorities.
MorphoTrak offers complete visa, passport and identity card solutions from applicant enrollment to document issuance and control, using any of the three major biometric technologies – iris, facial and fingerprint recognition. Biometrics can be stored either in a contactless microchip, a bi-dimensional barcode or a central database.

· MorphoCheck™ - Fast, mobile, secure ID checks: The MorphoCheck™ terminal enables border control and immigration officers to check new generation ID documents. With this mobile, hand-held terminal, ID checks can be carried out anywhere and without any particular infrastructure.
A versatile terminal: Besides its optical sensor for instant fingerprint identification, the MorphoCheck™, accommodates a reader module that varies depending on the version: 2D barcode, contact and contactless smart chips, machine-readable zones. The terminal is designed to comply with international standards, including those defined by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for the European e-passport: Basic Access Control and Extended Access Control (BAC and EAC).

MorphoE-Pass™ 32KB or 64 KB ICAO Compliant Passport: The MorphoE-Pass™ is a new generation passport incorporating advanced security features and the biometric data of its bearer. It is fully compliant with the latest ICAO recommendations, particularly for biometrics, logical data structure and Public Key Infrastructure or PKI implementation.
· MorphoPath™: With any self-service access control system, it is essential to detect individuals attempting to pass through a gate unauthenticated (i.e. by tailgating, climbing over the barrier, etc.). Common techniques like processing images from digital cameras and infrared cells are too easily bypassed.
To stop unverified passage, MorphoPath makes use of innovative sensors. A uniqueness detection solution based on pressure sensors, MorphoPath™ achieves unrivalled performance in guaranteeing that just one person is going through a gate at a given time. MorphoPath™ can be used with most existing electro-mechanical gates. As it relies on pressure sensor technology and not image processing, it is not affected by artificial or natural light changes.
· Morpho e-Gate: With an increasing number of people crossing borders by land, sea and air, authorities must be able to facilitate and simplify passenger travel, without compromising border security. MorphoTrak ’s versatile and functional MorphoTrak e-Gate ensures secure and effective border management while providing efficient traffic-flow at all types of border crossings.
Depending on customer needs and physical constraints, the MorphoTrak e-Gate can be equipped with a control station based on ICAO compliant travel documents or coupled with biometric database (watchlists, visas, asylum databases). The Morpho e-Gate can be deployed and used at entrance or exit to a country, facility or secure area. It can also be ‘ruggedized’ for outdoor use.
